So... I'm not the newest new hire anymore. There was a guy that started last Friday on his training. Hopefully he stays around. It always sucks being the new guy. He'll get through it.
My nightmares about Fluidity boxes are dying down now, too; so the UPS life is getting better.

Day 23
Well... A bit has changed since I've started here.
First: my Part-Time Supervisor has switched belts. It's right across the bars, so not the biggest change.
Second: (and this happened a while ago) Two people on the belt I was assigned have quit. One went through the two weeks and the other was still on probation. Someone who helped start me on the training has also retired. She was a very nice lady; and I'm going to miss her a lot.
And third: I've managed to get my numbers close to what the new Part-Time Supervisor is asking. I've been having trouble with them since I was alone in my trailers, but it's getting closer and closer to where they want them. Now only seven days to get it past 300.

Day 18
I'm starting to get the hang of it. I guess I was just thinking a bit too much. I can't over-analyze every detail about putting boxes down so they won't move while... Well... Moving. It's really just grab and go. Not much more to it than that.
If there's one thing I'm not looking forward to quite yet, though, it's Peak Season.

Day 13
There's been a lot of trainer changes in the first few weeks of working here. I don't know what else to say... Now the belt manager is my trainer and they keep pushing numbers down my throat and expecting me to give them back.
I just need to remember the week is almost over.

Day 8
I never should have said that last week... Sometimes I wonder what I got myself in to; but most of the time, Marcus is there to tell me to load faster. What can I complain about, though? A paycheck is a paycheck, and at least I'm getting one.

Day 3
So... I can get in to the warehouse by myself now. Cornerstone is almost done. They're teaching us to be safe while moving boxes.
How hard could it really be?
